Katasraj Temples

Hindu mandir situated near the village Choa Saidan Shah in the Chakwal district of Punjab, Pakistan. Dedicated to Shiva, the temple has existed since the days of Mahābhārata and the Pandava brothers spent a substantial part of their exile at the site. The Pakistan Government is considering nominating the temple complex for World Heritage Site status.

Sacred pool believed to be formed by the tears of Shiva, according to Hindu mythology.

Water from the pool, which is fed naturally by the underground water table, is pumped out to feed the near by settlements.

Bulleh Shah's shrine, Kasur

Baba Bulleh Shah (1680-1757 C.E) was a sufi poet, humanist & a philosopher. Famous in Punjabi culture & literature for his message of love regardless of caste and religion. His tomb lies in the town of Kasur in Punjab, Pakistan.
