Lahore, the cultural capital of Pakistan and the administrative capital of the province of Punjab. It is a metropolis that has flourished since the times of the Vedas into the 21st century. It has seen the rise and fall of many civilisations, has been a center of many cultures and even acted as the capital of the great Mogul empire in its illustrious past. Today it boasts to be the second largest city in Pakistan and of being one of the most well known cities in South Asia. The city offers a spectrum of attractions to its visitors, from Mogul monuments, to colonial architectural masterpieces, busy traditional bazaars, mystic Sufi shrines, 5 star hotels and a modern commercial hub.
